Description

House. Built around the middle of the 19th century. The exterior is colourwashed and plastered, with a slate roof that has been painted with bitumen. It has deep eaves supported by paired timber brackets, and end chimney stacks.

The house was originally planned with two rooms wide and double in depth, with a central entrance likely leading to a stair hall. The front is symmetrical, with three bays, and features a verandah supported by iron posts; the verandah roof is made of corrugated asbestos and plastic. A central panelled front door gives access, while half-glazed French windows, likely from the 19th or 20th century, are positioned to the left and right. The first floor has three two-light timber casement windows with small panes, also dating back to the 19th century.

The interior has not been inspected but may contain original features of interest. The house occupies a very prominent location within the village.
