Description

April Cottage is a cottage dating from around the late 18th or early 19th century. The exterior is whitewashed and rendered, with an asbestos slate roof and a stack on the right end. The cottage follows a single-depth, two-room plan, with a central entrance. The front is symmetrical, with three bays. It features a 20th-century front door in the centre and early 19th-century 16-pane sash windows, except for a 12-pane sash window on the first floor to the left. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is part of a group of buildings located at the north-west end of the village, opposite Church House.
