Description

The lychgate north of the Church of All Saints was built in 1851, during a significant restoration of the church. It is constructed from red sandstone and white freestone, topped with a gabled slate roof featuring crested ridge tiles. The thick red sandstone end walls have corbels that support the roof structure on upward-curving braces. There is a shoulder-headed white freestone archway with an open timber gate that is fitted with strap hinges.
