Description
Farm buildings to No. 2 are located on the east side of Halt Road in Newlyn East. These structures date from the late 18th century to the early 19th century and form a farmyard with buildings on three sides, situated south of the farmhouse. The buildings are constructed from local shale rubble and feature slate and asbestos roofs. The complex includes a carriage house and stables that face the road, with a barn opposite that has a rendered first floor and a blocked opening. In the mid to late 19th century, the range was extended to add more farm stores and a set of pigsties. These buildings are primarily noted for their group value with the former farmhouse and the village center.
