Three town houses, now shops. Early/mid C19. Stucco to front, asbestos slatehanging on studwork above brick to ground floor of right-hand (Calenick Street) return; grouted scantle slate roof with hipped return on right. Double-depth corner site plan. 3 storeys; 4-window-range front to Victoria Square, 2-window-range front to Calenick Street. Main Victoria Square front has original 12-pane hornless sashes (except that upper sash of right-hand end window is later replacement) within stucco surrounds to 2nd floor; 2 canted bay windows to first floor, with original hornless sashes with glazing bars (except for lower sash on left) under moulded cornices linked to moulded string; end pilasters to upper floors; middle pilaster to 1st floor and moulded eaves cornice. Ground floor has 3 late C19 shop fronts, including corner shop (right), with pilasters, consoles, moulded cornices to fascia and C20 shop windows. Right-hand return has original 12-pane hornless sashes to upper floors. INTERIOR: shops altered C20, upper floors not inspected.
