Description

This is an early 18th century granite milestone located on the north side of an unclassified road, approximately 64 meters northeast of Melroy Terrace in Blackwater. The milestone is square in shape with a triangular top, both of which are painted white, and it stands 0.68 meters tall. The north and west sides feature blank recessed faces that would have displayed the distances to Redruth and Lands End, respectively.
