Description
The Merifield monument is a headstone located in the churchyard about 10 metres northwest of the tower of the Church of St Wenna. It dates from the early 19th century and is made of slate. The rectangular headstone features carved low relief pilasters and scrolled eternal flames. It has good lettering and verses dedicated to Samuel Merifield, who passed away in 1825.
