Description
The steps, walls, and coffin rest at the west entrance to the churchyard of the Church of St Wenna were built in the mid to late 19th century. They are made of granite and consist of a flight of eight granite steps. The low flanking walls are constructed from rubble and feature chamfered granite coping, extending about six meters long and stepping up at the entrance to the churchyard. At the top of the entrance, there is a central coffin rest made of a granite monolith, with a grid of granite bars on each side to prevent animals from entering the churchyard.
