ST WENN SW 96 NW 2/327 Killeganogue Farmhouse - II

Farmhouse. Early - mid C19, with some additions of later C19 and few later alterations. Granite rubble. Slate roof with crested ridge tiles and gable ends; a 2-span roof, with gable ends stacks with brick shafts at each end of each range. Plan: Double depth plan, in parallel ranges; central entrance with principal room to front right and left; in the rear range there is a central stair hall with service rooms to right and left. Single storey outhouse attached at the left side. Exterior: 2 storeys, a symmetrical 3-window front; all windows are C19 16-pane sashes with timber lintels. Central C19 4-panelled door. At the left side there is a single storey outhouse, with bitumenised slate roof, with 4-pane window to front and stack with brick shaft at the left gable end; lower single storey shed attached at the gable end. The right side is blind. At the rear, ground floor has C19 12-pane sash to left and 16-pane sash to right. First floor has two C19 12-pane sashes with cambered brick arches, and central C19 round-arched 18-pane sash with radial glazing bars, lighting the stair. The outhouse has lean-to with 2-light casement, plank door and 4-pane sash. Single light to loft over. Interior: Not accessible.
