Description

The Studio is a probable fisherman's store from the 18th century located on The Quay in East Looe. The building features painted rubble with timber lintels and roughcast render on the southeast side. It has a steep hipped roof covered with slurried rag slate and includes a skylight at the front. The structure has a rectangular plan and is two storeys high, with a two-window range. The windows are from the 20th century and have glazing bars. There is a central loading doorway with a hood, which is accessed by a 20th-century flight of wooden stairs from the right, above the ground-floor doorway, which also has 20th-century doors. The interior has not been inspected.
