Description
The gate piers and wall at the entrance of the west drive to the former Pendarves House date from the mid to late 19th century. They are constructed from granite ashlar, with the gate piers being rusticated and square in section, standing approximately 2.5 meters high and topped with flat square caps. The walls, which are snecked granite, are about 1.5 meters high and feature ridged coping. The inner and outer pairs of gate piers are connected by S-shaped curved walls. The original gates are missing. This structure is included for its group value with the lodge.
