Description
The gate piers and garden wall to Number 36 were built around 1840 and are made of ashlar and coursed squared stone. The gate piers, which provide access to the carriage entrance on the west side of the house, are square and approximately 2 meters high, tapering towards the top. They feature round-arched recesses on the front and have large pedimented capstones. The garden wall runs across the front of the house and is about 0.60 meters high, with moulded capstones and a turn that aligns with the pathway leading to the house door. These structures are included for their group value.
