Description

The gate piers to Rose Court, part of Leeds High School for Girls, were built around 1840. They are very large, with a rectangular section and stand approximately 3 meters tall. The piers are made of rusticated ashlar and feature wide caps with a bracketed cornice. Their style is similar to that of the garden terrace steps of Rose Court. These piers are included for their group value.
