Description
The gate piers and walls at South Lodge, Roundhay Hall Hospital, date from the mid-19th century and are constructed of ashlar stone. The gate piers are rectangular in shape, approximately 2 meters high, featuring high plinths, panelled sides, and wide capstones. The curved flanking walls are about 4 meters long and have ridge coping, although they have been rebuilt. The gates are currently missing. This structure is included for its group value.
