Description

This is a footbridge dated 1768, located over Gledhow Lane. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a later ashlar parapet. The bridge has a single elliptical arch, with a keystone that is inscribed with 'JD 1768'. It was built to provide access to land on the other side of the road from Gledhow Hall, which includes the home farm on Lidgett Lane, although that property is not included in this listing.
