Description

No. 22 on St Gluvias Street is a town house from the 18th century. It is built of rubble and rendered on the first floor, possibly over cob, and features a steep dry slate roof. The house has a shallow-depth plan and is two storeys high with a two-window range. The windows are 20th-century four-pane two-light casements set in wide openings, and there is a six-panel door in a 19th-century reduced opening on the left side. Although the interior has not been inspected, the proportions and side-passage entry suggest that this is one of the earliest buildings on this mainly 18th-century street.
