Description

This is a pair of small town houses located in Penryn, dating from the early to mid-19th century. They are constructed of local rubble walls with granite dressings, featuring shallow segmental brick arches over the ground-floor windows and round brick arches over the doorways. The roof is of dry Delabole slate, with moulded brick eaves supported by brick modillions, and a cast-iron ogee gutter. The buildings have a shallow-depth plan with a deep wing extending at the rear right. The front facade is symmetrical, with three windows per floor. The original windows are 12-pane hornless sash windows. The doorways have 20th-century doors and blind fanlights. The interior remains uninspected. The buildings are listed for their group value.
