Description
No. 26 St Gluvius Street is a small town house dating from the mid-19th century, built on an older site. It is constructed of killas and granite rubble, featuring granite dressings, and has a dry slate roof with slightly projecting front eaves. The house has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys high with a one-window range. There is a flat brick arch above the original 12-pane hornless sash window on the first floor to the left, which is set over a wider opening with a segmental brick arch above a 20th-century twenty-pane horned sash window. The doorway is located to the far right and features a 20th-century top-glazed door with an overlight. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
