Description

Hornpipe Cottage is a town house dating from the late 18th century. It features granite rubble walls and flat arches on the ground floor, topped by a steep dry slate roof with rendered end stacks. The building has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys high, presenting a symmetrical front with three windows. The windows are 20th-century sixteen-pane two-light casements. The central doorway is framed by a mid-19th century pilastered doorcase with a moulded cornice, boarded reveals, and a three-panel door. The interior has not been inspected.
