Description

This is a pair of town houses, numbers 33 and 35 St Gluvias Street, Penryn, dating from the 18th century. The houses are constructed of granite rubble with wooden lintels, and have a steeply pitched roof covered in asbestos slate and dry slate, with a rendered stack on the right-hand side. They have a T-shaped plan that includes a pair of rear wings. The front of the building is almost symmetrical, with five windows. The windows are 20th-century two-light casements with glazing bars. There are doorways towards the left and right of the ground floor; the left doorway has a 20th-century glazed door, while the right has an early 19th-century six-panel door. A central window on the ground floor likely occupies the position of a former doorway. The interior of the houses has not been inspected.
