Description

No. 20 on Main Street is a house, likely built in the 18th century. It features coursed rubble construction and a slate roof. The building has two storeys and a two-unit plan. The entrance is located to the left of the front elevation, framed by a rough stone architrave and a chamfered timber lintel. To the right of the door, there are two three-light casement windows in a 19th-century style, along with a 20th-century door that has replaced a single light window; all of these openings have flat timber lintels. The upper casement windows are similar to those below. A brick stack is positioned on the right-hand gable, which is coped. Additionally, there are three late 20th-century gabled dormer windows set within the roof space.
