Description

High Gable is a house, probably dating from the mid-17th century. It is constructed from coursed ironstone rubble and has a Welsh slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has a single unit plan with an outshut at the back. Each floor features a 3-light stone mullioned window, and there is a fire window to the left on the ground floor. The house has coped gables and brick gable stacks, with an additional 2-light mullioned window in the gable wall. There is a new extension at the rear.
