Description
Nos. 1 and 3 Church Street are a pair of houses dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. They are constructed of coursed rubble and feature a Welsh slate roof. The buildings are two storeys high.
No. 1 has a side entry and includes one three-light casement window on each floor, both with timber lintels, as well as a small fire window with a stone surround on the street side. There is a tier of stone mullioned windows in the gable wall and a rear wing made of white ashlar, which contains two sash windows.
No. 3 has a doorway to the left with a four-centred stone arch, and two renewed casement windows to the right on each floor. There is a blocked ground floor doorway to the right and a tiny window with a stone surround above it. In the gable wall, there is one two-light stone mullioned window.
