Description
Castle House is a house dating from the early 19th century, or possibly a remodelling of an older structure. The front is finished in stucco or render, and it has an asbestos slate roof with gable ends. There is a brick chimney on the left-hand end and an axial brick chimney over the cross wall towards the right. The layout is likely a double-depth plan, featuring two rooms at the front and service rooms at the rear, with an entrance hall located towards the left. The exterior is two storeys high and has a slightly irregular three-window front facing southwest, with a doorway on the left side that features a 20th-century door. The windows are early 19th-century 16-pane hornless sashes. The interior has not been inspected.
