Description
The gazebo, now used as an office, dates from around 1720 and is located to the east of Estcourt House on Park Road in Stapleton, Bristol. It is constructed from red Pennant rubble with limestone dressings and features a slate pyramidal roof. The building has two storeys and a single-door range. Access to the first-floor entrance is via Pennant steps, and there is a broken pediment on the quadrant with acanthus and scrolled brackets, which is similar to features found at Grange House on Park Road. The door has four fielded panels, and there is a ball finial on the parapeted roof. The right return of the gazebo has a one-window range with late 20th-century windows. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is an attached garden wall that connects the gazebo with Estcourt House.
