Includes: No.8 ST AUGUSTINE'S PARADE Centre. Terrace of 4 houses, now shops. Early C19. Brick and render with limestone dressings, brick party wall stacks and a pantile mansard roof. Double-depth plan. Each of 3 storeys and attic; 1-, 2-, 3- and 7-window ranges. Terrace of different width houses, which turns the right-hand corner sharply with 1 window in the right return, articulated by pilasters to a coved parapet coping. C20 shop fronts; rectangular windows have cambered heads and 5 stepped voussoirs, 6/6-pane sashes, with margin panes to right-hand pair of houses; wider corner windows, with wrought-iron Gothic-arched basket balconies to the first-floor; dormers. Rear elevation of No.24 has brick front with moulded strings and chamfered surrounds, and No.8 has 8/8-pane sashes in flush frames. INTERIOR not inspected.
