Description

No. 17 St Augustine's Parade is an attached house that has been converted into a shop and office. It dates from the late 18th century and was restored in 1992. The exterior features a rendered finish with a brick stack on the party wall and a slate mansard roof. The building has a double-depth plan and stands three storeys high with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The shop front, which is from the 20th century, includes a banded left-hand pilaster strip leading to a cornice and parapet, with keyed architraves framing 6/6-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
