Description
Nos. 5 and 6 on St Augustine's Parade are a pair of attached houses, now functioning as shops, built in the mid-18th century. They are constructed of brick with limestone dressings and have a double-depth plan. Each house has three storeys and an attic, featuring a one-window range. The shop fronts are from the 20th century, with pilasters above leading to a plain cornice band, a moulded cornice, an attic storey, and a parapet. The windows have architraves with raised cornices, although the right-hand window has been removed. The windows include 2/2-pane sashes and 2-light mullion windows in the attic. The interior has not been inspected.
