Description
Nos. 119, 121, and 123 on King Street in Knutsford form a terrace of three houses that have been converted into shops and offices. The buildings are dated 1785 on a rainwater head, although they may have an earlier origin. They are constructed of brick with stone dressings and feature a slate roof. The terrace stands three storeys high and has a seven-window range. The ground floor has inserted shop fronts, with a single original door or window that is now blocked. The first floor has 12-pane flush-framed sash windows, which are topped with flat-arched gauged brick heads and have stone sills. The upper storey contains seven windows, two of which are blocked, and there are end wall stacks. Inside, at least one of the units retains a possible late 18th-century staircase.
