Description

An arc lamp post, designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor, is located approximately 20 metres north-east of Number 17 on Pembroke Road in Clifton, Bristol. The lamp post is made of cast iron and features a fluted base adorned with the City arms. It has a decorative bulb at the top, and the shaft leads to a foliate top that curves into a half-circle, embellished with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
