Description

This is an arc lamp post located approximately 6 metres west of number 52 on Pembroke Road in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base that displays the City arms, and it is topped by a decorative bulb. The shaft leads up to a foliate top that curves into a half-circle to support the lamp, which has a cast flower design. The lamp has been relamped.
