Description

An arc lamp post, designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor, is located approximately 20 metres east of number 91 on Pembroke Road in Clifton, Bristol. This lamp post is made of cast iron and features a fluted base adorned with the City arms. It has a bulb shaped like a flower at the top of the shaft, which transitions into a foliate design that curves into a half-circle, supported by curly brackets holding the lamp, which is decorated with a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
