Description
An arc lamp post, designed in 1898 by H.F. Proctor, is located approximately 20 metres north of Number 1 on The Paragon in Clifton, Bristol. The lamp post is made of cast iron and features a fluted base with a panel displaying the city arms. It has a tapering column that culminates in a foliate top, which is turned over into a half-circle with curly brackets and a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
