Description
This cast-iron arc lamp post stands at the western end of York Gardens in Clifton, Bristol. Designed in 1888 by HF Proctor, it features a fluted base with panels displaying the city’s arms. Above the base is a foliate bulb, a shaft leading to a foliate top turned over into a half-circle shape with curly brackets to hold the lamp. The lamp post has been updated with new lighting. It is of group value context.
