Description
Nos. 9 and 11 Pembroke Road are a pair of attached houses built around 1840. They are constructed from limestone ashlar and feature lateral and party wall stacks, topped with a pantile hipped roof. The houses have a double-depth plan and consist of three storeys and a basement, with a two-window range. The front is symmetrical, with pilasters on the shallow wings, and includes first- and second-floor sill bands and eaves. The doorways on the sides have imposts and feature 6-panel doors with side and overlights. The inner windows are tripartite with architraves, and the houses have 6/6-pane sashes, some of which include horizontal bars. The interior has not been inspected. These houses form a pair with Nos. 5 and 7 Pembroke Road.
