Description
This is an arc lamp post located approximately 3 metres south-east of Number 6 on West Mall in Clifton, Bristol. It was designed in 1888 by H.F. Proctor and is made of cast iron. The lamp post features a fluted base with panels that display the City arms. It has a bulb shaped like a flower at the top, and the shaft is adorned with a foliate design that curves into a half-circle, supporting a lamp with a cast flower. The lamp has been relamped.
