House. Dated 1822. Render with limestone dressings, roof not visible. Double-depth plan. Late Georgian style. 3 storeys and basement; 2-window range. Pilasters and second-floor plat band, the second floor is a later addition above the band; right-hand semicircular-arched doorcase with key and impost to flat architrave, and a blocked fanlight. Plate-glass sashes with margin bars, a semicircular-arched stair window to the right over the door, and a central plaque inscribed YORK COTTAGE 1822. INTERIOR not inspected. SUBSIDIARY FEATURES: spear-headed railings with urn newels to front area basement.
