Description
Hill View Lodge is an early Victorian villa, built around 1850. It is constructed of white-painted brick with black-painted stucco dressings and features three windows across its front. The villa has a glazed porch adorned with arched Gothick lights, patterned glass in the gable, and a wavy bargeboard topped with a cast-iron finial; a railing remains on the left side. On either side of the porch, there are neat canted bays with moulded cornices at the ground floor. The gable wall is finished in stucco and has wavy pierced bargeboards. The property is enclosed by black-painted gate piers and a wall, and it has stucco chimneys. Additionally, there is a white weatherboarded workshop wing at the back, which features continuous glazing on the upper floor.
