Description
No 99 (Quality) and No 101 (Tranquility) are a picturesque pair of 19th-century cottages made of painted brick, featuring one storey and an attic with dormers. The main gable ends have hipped roofs, and the roofs are covered with slate. The timber porches and the rectangular bay windows on the ground floor also have hipped slate roofs. The fascias of the porches display the names "Quality" and "Tranquility" in a traditional style. These cottages are included for their group value, as they are part of a collection of buildings surrounding Wick Village green, which also includes The Shutters and Rose Cottage, The Well House, Laurel Cottage, Wick Farm Cottage, and Branders Cottage.
