Description

The bandstand in Quomps Recreation Ground is a late 19th-century structure. It is an octagonal bandstand made of cast iron, which is raised on a plastered plinth. The entrance features five semi-circular steps, and there is a cast iron balustrade and pillars surrounding the structure. A decorative cast iron parapet with finials runs around the edge of the roof. Inside, there is a wooden ribbed ceiling, and the roof is topped with a small dome that has a finial.
