Description

Sanctuary and Sanctuary Cottage is an early 19th century farmhouse located in Wick Green. The building is constructed of red brick and stands two storeys high, featuring an eaves cornice and a hipped slate roof. It has three windows across the front, all with intact glazing bars. At the rear, there is a similar wing that connects to an older cottage, which served as a service wing at the time of the survey. This cottage is also two storeys tall, made of red brick, with a hipped tiled roof and casement windows on both floors. Sanctuary, Sanctuary Cottage, and the buildings of Wick Farm form a cohesive group.
