Description
Bell Farm Farmhouse, located on Bell Lane in Eton Wick, dates back to around 1375 but has been altered in the 16th and 19th centuries. The building features a timber frame with modern brick nogging on the ground floor and tile hanging on the first floor. It has two main gable ends on the front elevation and a modern porch. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has casement windows. The center of the north elevation dates from the 16th century. Inside, there is a notable hall with a king post roof, a parlour with late 16th-century panelling, and a 16th-century newel staircase. The original trefoil window on the first floor has been blocked. This house holds considerable antiquarian interest.
