Description

Manor Farmhouse is a late 17th-century farmhouse with additions from the early 19th century and the late 19th century. The front is red brick, while the rear is timber-framed and rendered. It has a hipped roof covered in old tiles. The building is arranged in a T-shape, with two framed bays to the rear. There are two storeys with 1½ storeys at the rear. Chimneys are located at the end of the left side, behind the ridge towards the left, and at the end of the rear wing. Two gabled eaves dormers with two-light casements are present on the west side of the rear wing. The south front features two first-floor sash windows to the left and a canted bay with a hipped roof to the right. To the left of the bay are two ground-floor tripartite sash windows, and to the right a glazing-bar sash window. A half-glazed door with margin lights is positioned between the first and second windows from the left, and is sheltered by a flat bracketed porch. Evidence suggests a former triangular pedimented doorcase was once present.
