Description

Wakehams is a 17th-century timber-framed building that has been restored and embellished in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is built with red brick nogging and has an old tile roof. The building is two storeys high, with a one-storey addition on the right-hand side and a modern one-storey wing on the left. To the right of the centre is a splayed bay extending through two storeys, topped with a gable filled with brick, flint, and bottle bases. The windows include Gothic glazing and 2-light casements. A porch constructed of brick, flint, and bottle bases features a plastered Tudor arched opening.
