Description
99 and 100 Exeter Street are a pair of cottages dating from the early 18th century, likely recased from a 16th-century timber frame. They are two storeys high with an attic and constructed of painted brick, featuring a band between the storeys. The cottages have a steeply pitched old tile roof with two hipped roof dormers. Each cottage has one window; No 99 has a flush framed window on the first floor, while No 100 has a ground floor window with eight panes, both are 19th-century sashes. No 99 has restored glazing bars. There are plain doors at each end of the front, each with small bracketed hoods. At the rear, there is a joint wing with a steep pitched gable that shows some traces of framing. Nos 99 to 112 Exeter Street form a group.
