Description
110 Exeter Street is an early 19th century rehandling of an older building. The front is faced with mathematical tiles on a stone plinth. A painted wooden band runs above the first floor, and there is a plain band at the eaves. The roof is hipped and covered with old tiles. The building has one window facing the street. The second-floor window is a flush architrave framed sash window. A 19th-century canted bay window has been added to the first floor; it features later glazing to the sash lights, a panelled apron, and a stepped, shallow cornice. The ground-floor window is a flush architrave framed sash window with panelled shutters. The front door consists of four flush panels and a rectangular fanlight, set within an architrave surround with shaped brackets and moulded caps to the cornice. The building forms a group with numbers 99 to 112 on Exeter Street.
