Description
Nos 7, 9 and 9A, known as Stourcliffe House, and Nos 11 and 11A are stucco Italianate villas built around 1865, designed in the style of the 1840s. The entrance front, facing east, features three windows and an overhanging eaves cornice supported by console brackets that continue around the entire house. The building has a hipped slate roof. There is a porch with a concave-splayed round-arched doorcase and a round-arched window on the side. To the north, there is a projecting flat-roofed extension, while a flat-roofed wing with a cornice connects to a gable that also has overhanging eaves. The attached cottage, Nos 11 and 11A, features overhanging eaves and a canted bay window on the ground floor.
