Description

The White Cottage is an early 19th-century cottage located on Burley Road, south of Winkton. It is rendered white and has a hipped slate roof. The two-storey cottage has three sash windows, each with a segmental arch above. There is a central door. The cottage stands back from the frontage and is part of a group of six cottages that adjoin each other, forming an interesting visual composition on the side of Winkton Green. Numbers 1 to 6 (consec) adjoin, while numbers 1 to 4 and number 6 are noted as being of local interest.
