Bumble Bee Cottage

Bumble Bee Cottage is a building dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It features a painted brick facade with a brick eaves cornice and has a half hipped roof covered with old tiles. The cottage is two storeys high and has one window with sash design, which includes late 19th century glazing. There is a side entrance and a rear wing that contains one round arched window and one of two arched lights on the first floor. The cottage is listed as Grade II due to its group value, as it is part of a collection of buildings that includes Holmfield College, Winkton Lodge Cottage, St Anne's and Kimbolton Cottages, Clifton Cottage, and Willow Cottage, along with Monks Revel and Gosfield Cottages opposite. Holmfield College and Winkton Lodge Cottage are noted for their local interest.
