Description

Gosfield Cottage is an 18th-century red brick building with a tiled roof and brick stacks. It is a two-storey cottage with five windows, each featuring sash windows with glazing bars and moulded boxed frames. The ground-floor windows have plain wooden shutters. A doorway is topped with a bracketed segmental hood and fluted side pilasters. The door itself is six-panelled, with the upper two panels now glazed. Gosfield Cottage forms a group with Monks Revel, Holmefield College, and the listed cottages opposite. Holmefield College and Winkton Lodge Cottage are buildings of local interest.
